Giant Fabric Flowers
In fabric, a giant flower takes on a different feel. The petals become velvety, with a soft drape and an even, matte color, and giant fabric flowers look welcoming even up close, which suits decorations like Christmas.
Fabric also shows up in projects that go beyond flowers. For a quinceañera at the Graciosa Country Club in Curitiba, Brazil, we made a 3 by 3 m (10 by 10 ft) butterfly with printed fabric wings, designed just for that party, and lights inside. For Father's Day at O Boticário, a Brazilian beauty retail chain, a hot-air balloon in leather and fabric filled the windows of more than 50 of the chain's stores.
The giant fabric poinsettia, with red petals and a golden center, is the first model in this collection. Other flowers, colors and sizes in fabric are made to order.
