For a wedding in the ballroom of Bacarat Restaurante in Porto Velho, Brazil, we created a chandelier of giant Italian crepe paper flowers and a 3 x 3 meter (10 x 10 ft) flower wall. The room had no crystal chandelier, and the idea was to create that effect with flowers and stage lighting. We designed a large chandelier of white flowers, with wavy petals and loose leaves, that descends in layers over the tables along the center aisle. On the wall, the white flower wall stands out against the dark background. The long wooden tables and the rustic textured walls contrast with the lightness of the paper.
