For a new campus of Colégio Positivo, a school in Brazil, we produced about 50 autumn-toned giant leaves that descend from a 15-meter (49 ft) ceiling. The central atrium was dark and gray and felt like a cold box for a school environment. The idea was to bring color and warmth, like autumn leaves falling. The leaves, 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6.5 ft) long, in yellow, coral and red, hang at different heights and lead the eye from the ceiling to the floor. Right below is the children's playroom, which gained a sky of leaves. School decor that turned a gray space into a lively environment.
