Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
This policy explains how JB Estúdio Criativo LTDA (CNPJ 62.200.203/0001-89), based in Curitiba, Brazil, produces, packages, and delivers the pieces purchased on this website.
1. Where we deliver
We deliver throughout all of Brazil and to other countries. Every piece is produced at our studio in Curitiba and shipped from there, regardless of destination.
For some international destinations, shipping is quoted individually before purchase, since it depends on the piece's volume and carrier restrictions. In that case, contact us at contato@jacquelinebenevides.com.br before completing your order.
2. Production time + transit time
The total time to delivery is the sum of two separate stages:
- Production: each piece is hand-sculpted to order, after payment is confirmed and color and height are defined. Large pieces, customizations, and multi-unit orders may require more time — in that case, we'll let you know the new timeline in writing before production begins.
- Transit: the carrier's delivery time, calculated at checkout based on the shipping address. For international destinations, add the customs clearance time in the destination country, which we cannot predict or control.
Production time starts counting on the first business day after payment is approved. Business days and holidays observed are those of Brazil, where each piece is produced.
Do you have an event date already set? Check our production schedule availability before purchasing.
3. Delivery options
- Carrier delivery, within Brazil: the standard option, with tracking.
- International shipping: by courier or air freight, with tracking, depending on the destination and the piece's volume.
- Local delivery in Curitiba and the metro area: our own transport or a hired driver, with a date and time window arranged in advance.
- Studio pickup: no shipping cost, in Curitiba, by prior appointment. Large pieces require a suitable vehicle — we'll provide the packaging dimensions so you can plan transport.
- Freight on quote: monumental pieces, overhead installations, and panels may require a dedicated vehicle or air freight. In these cases, shipping is quoted case by case.
4. How shipping cost is calculated
Shipping is calculated based on the destination address and the package's dimensional weight — that is, the space it takes up, not just its actual weight. Large-scale floral sculptures are light but take up a lot of space, and carriers charge for the space used. Because of this, shipping costs can be higher than expected for an item of similar weight.
Pieces taller than the carrier's accepted limit may be shipped disassembled, with assembly instructions, or sent via dedicated transport.
5. Taxes and fees on international shipments
For shipments outside Brazil, the amount paid on the website covers the product and shipping. Import taxes, customs duties, clearance fees, and any other charges applied in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility and are paid directly to local authorities or the local carrier.
These amounts vary by country and cannot be calculated by us at the time of purchase. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing your order. If a shipment is refused at destination or abandoned in customs, return or destruction costs are the buyer's responsibility.
6. Packaging
Each piece is packed in a custom-sized box, with internal protection that supports the petals and stems throughout transit. Keep the original packaging — it's needed to safely store the piece when it's not on display, and for any return in cases of defect or shipping damage, as described in our Return & Refund Policy.
7. Tracking
As soon as your order ships, we'll email you the tracking code and link. If the status hasn't updated in more than 5 business days — or more than 10 business days for international shipments — please contact us.
8. Receiving your order
Check the packaging in the presence of the delivery person. If there are dents, tears, signs of moisture, or evidence of tampering, note it on the delivery receipt or refuse the delivery, and let us know the same day. The full procedure is described in our Return & Refund Policy.
Most carriers attempt delivery up to 3 times. After that, the order returns to our studio, and a new shipment requires payment of new shipping costs. Please make sure someone will be available at the address to receive the piece.
9. Delivery address
The accuracy of the address provided in your order is the buyer's responsibility. An incorrect or incomplete address may cause delays, return to sender, and a new shipping charge for reshipment. If you spot an error, let us know right away — we can still fix it before dispatch.
10. Assembly and installation
Delivery does not include assembly, installation, structural mounting, or takedown after the event. These services are contracted separately, on quote, in Brazil or other countries. Contact us if your project needs an on-site team.
