Giant Props & Event Fabrication

Some briefs don't fit any catalog. The brand doesn't want a flower, it wants a real hot-air balloon in its store window. The samba school needs a rose that shines under the spotlights and stays light on the head of the dancer who wears it. These are the requests behind our giant props and event fabrication for brands: pieces that don't exist yet, designed and handmade in our studio in Curitiba, southern Brazil.

9,000giant flowers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
50+O Boticário stores with the same piece
8 monthsof production for a single project

For Father's Day at O Boticário, a Brazilian perfume and beauty chain, we recreated a vintage hot-air balloon in leather and fabric, from the gores to the rigging and the basket. The piece was reproduced with the same finish for the windows of more than 50 stores. For Mangueira, a samba school of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, the giant rose got magenta petals and rows of hand-applied crystals along the edges, and could be seen from far away during the parade.

At a party at the Graciosa Country Club in Curitiba, the request also went beyond our flowers: a 3 by 3 meter (10 by 10 ft) butterfly with a metal frame, fabric wings in an exclusive print and lights inside that made the wings glow like stained glass. And in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, came the longest project in our history: eight months of production, 9,000 giant flowers made by hand and 1.5 tons of material shipped from Brazil for the wedding of the granddaughter of the country's first king, at the Al Faisaliah Hotel.

They all started the same way: with an idea, a measurement and a date. If the piece your brand has in mind doesn't exist yet, that's where we begin.
