ANBA: the 9,000 giant flowers of a wedding in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

In March 2025, ANBA, the news agency of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, published a story about Jacqueline Benevides' work decorating a wedding in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The story, written by journalist Rebecca Vettore, follows the project from the invitation in May 2023. The following month, Jacqueline traveled to Riyadh to meet the bride and present the flower proposals. Once the decor was approved, production took place in Brazil between June and November. In December, a team of 10 people arrived in Riyadh and spent 45 days installing the decor on site. In all, there were 9,000 giant flowers, at a wedding with a thousand female guests.

The article also notes a difference in taste between the two countries: in Riyadh, the flowers were all hot pink and orange, while brides in Brazil tend to prefer neutral tones. It also tells how, after this project, came weddings and window displays in Costa Rica, the United States and Brazil.

The story was republished by Embassy News and ContextoExato, and has an English version on the ANBA website.
