For the window of Botteh, a handmade rug store, we created a hanging garden of giant Italian crepe paper flowers. The street is full of visual competition, and the window had to make people stop, on foot or by car, without taking attention away from the rugs. The flowers, full of volume and texture, contrast with the geometric patterns of the rugs in a magenta, orange and red palette that matches the collections. At the center of each flower, a mirrored heart reflects the store lighting and, at night, the city lights. Hanging from the high ceiling, the flowers seem to float. Window display decor that tells a story and holds the eye in seconds.
