For this Sweet 16 party at Clube Curitibano in Curitiba, Brazil, we created a garden of giant Italian crepe paper flowers behind the dessert table. The ballroom had black walls, and the decor needed to capture the birthday girl’s youthful energy without losing the club’s sophistication. The warm palette of hot pink, fuchsia, red, orange and light pink created a dramatic contrast with the dark background. Instead of being fixed to the wall, the giant flowers rise from the floor on long stems and wrap around the dessert table and the guests. The texture of the petals catches the light and gives each flower depth. The volume guaranteed impact from every photo angle, from the start of the party to the end.
