Giant Garden for a Christening

A christening calls for an atmosphere of purity, renewal, and an almost angelic beauty. We designed this setting with giant organza flowers, creating a celestial garden that embraces guests and turns the moment into an immersive experience.

The Challenge

Filling a space majestically without losing the softness the occasion calls for is the central balance of a christening — too much dense material can compromise the aura of innocence and peace. The installation needed generous proportions, a delicate and fluid visual identity, and quick setup, with a flawless result under the photographers' lenses.

The Floral Installation

The giant organza flower took center stage: the fabric's translucent weave lets light pass through the petals, creating a floating effect in the space. The pastel palette of blue, pink, white, and soft yellow contrasts with the warm glow of the sunflowers and orange butterflies, hand-sculpted in Italian crepe paper to bring movement and life to the garden.

Organza's satin sheen paired beautifully with the elegant rusticity of the flower centers, made in heavyweight cardstock and crepe paper, highlighting the handmade process in every piece.
