Botanical Mirror

For an upscale retail store, we created the "Botanical Mirror": a composition of giant EVA foam flowers that hugs the curve of a circular mirror, turning a functional fixture of the store into a standout scene.

The Challenge

The space already had clean, modern, well-lit architecture — but it lacked an element to warm up the space and serve as a focal point for the eye. The circular mirror with its spiraling black frame was a bold piece that needed an organic counterpoint: an intervention that brought sophistication without overshadowing the products, and with the durability required for daily retail use.

The Floral Installation

The answer came through oversized botanicals: a lateral composition of giant EVA foam flowers, designed to hug the mirror's curve with fluidity. Unlike the lightness of organza — ideal for ephemeral events — high-density EVA foam is the right material for durability in permanent retail spaces.

Every petal received a rigorous hand-painting technique, with shading and textures that mimic nature, in an earthy peach tone that warms up the space and contrasts with the mirror's black and the floor's white.
