Archway in Italian Crepe Paper for the Pequeno Príncipe Gala

For the Hospital Pequeno Príncipe Gala, in São Paulo, we created an exclusive floral installation to turn the event's entrance into an immersive work of art, delivering instant wonder with giant Italian crepe paper flowers.

The Challenge

The event needed a grand entrance that also conveyed the delicacy and hope behind Hospital Pequeno Príncipe's cause. The space had a mix of industrial textures — exposed brick walls and dark, tall doors — and the challenge was to break up that rigidity with an organic, fluid element that would also work as a backdrop for guests' photos right at arrival.

The Floral Installation

We designed a botanical pathway of giant Italian crepe paper flowers, a material chosen for its ability to hold shape, its volume, and its rich texture, which reflects light in a sophisticated way. We worked with a gradient palette of pinks — from soft blush to deep rose — creating depth and movement.

The installation was split into two moments: a botanical archway framing the hall's large dark doors, creating a dramatic contrast that invited guests into a new atmosphere; and an asymmetric cascade of flowers climbing the rustic brick pillar, creating a sought-after photo backdrop for the evening. Every petal was hand-shaped, and the free-form stems allowed the installation to be adapted to the space's architecture.
