Aerial Floral Installation in Italian Crepe Paper at Simoni Perfumaria

For Simoni Perfumaria, in Gramado, Brazil, we created an aerial floral installation in Italian crepe paper that transformed the shopping experience: a suspended installation above the central counter, designed to complement the store's classic architecture without competing with the products on display.

The Challenge

In a retail space that carries brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Dior, the challenge was to create a visual impact that wouldn't overshadow the products. The perfumery's architecture already featured classic elements, gold lines, and neutral tones — what was needed was an artistic intervention that complemented that aesthetic, bringing volume, movement, and European romance, without weighing the space down.

The Floral Installation

The choice of material was essential: giant white Italian crepe paper flowers. Italian crepe paper allows for perfect petal shaping, with a velvety texture and organic drape that resembles the delicacy of a real flower, at sculptural scale.

The installation over the gold pendant lights created a visual frame for the store — the flowers appear to float, inviting customers to step in and explore. Every petal was shaped by hand, ensuring the finished piece was a one-of-a-kind work, impossible to replicate at industrial scale.
