TJPR atrium decorated with a giant floral installation - exhibition overview

I was invited by the Paraná State Court of Justice (TJPR) to create an exclusive exhibition celebrating Mother's Day. For two months, the institution's atrium was transformed into a true garden, proving that handcrafted floral installations can bring sensitivity and wonder to even the most imposing spaces.

The Challenge

Designing giant flowers for a serious corporate environment, like a courthouse, requires balancing the space's architectural grandeur — soaring ceilings, sturdy pillars, glass walls — with the delicacy the occasion called for. What was needed was a visual breath of fresh air, a poetic pause in the everyday routine of judges, staff, and the general public.

The Floral Installation

The star of the exhibition was the giant organza flower. The fabric's subtle transparency and light drape allowed for translucent petals in shades of pink, peach, and orange — as the atrium's natural light passed through the compositions, the scene came alive. Alongside the flowers, fluttering butterflies in the same material added a sense of continuous motion.

As the photographic focal point, we created a panel of giant white roses, hand-sculpted with volumetric precision, which became the exhibition's main photo magnet. The atrium's pillars were adorned with bell-shaped flowers in earthy tones, white, and yellow, in dialogue with the existing architecture.
