For the opening of the Italian store Fiore Milano, on Alameda Lorena, in Jardins, São Paulo, we created an exclusive installation of giant black organza flowers, crafting an atmosphere of drama and elegance that turned the storefront into a magnetic display.
The Challenge
Visual merchandising teams face a recurring challenge: how do you create a monumental point of attention that draws people in without competing with the shine of the products on display? The brand needed a high-visual-impact element to celebrate the store's arrival in São Paulo, but the installation had to be striking while still feeling visually fluid.
The Floral Installation
The answer came through giant organza flowers — the material offers a sculptural transparency, allowing petals at an enlarged scale without the result feeling heavy. Every flower was hand-shaped to capture the light and movement of the space, creating a play of shadow and transparency.
The choice of black brought an avant-garde aesthetic, working as a dramatic backdrop that showcased the design of the shoes and accessories on display. Mounted on curved stems and freestanding bases, the flowers were designed for versatility, able to be repositioned as the collection's layout changed.
